2008 Masters Club Charity Recipients

Each spring the Charity Review committee for the Steering Committee of the Masters Club embarks on visitations to local charities. The purpose of these visits is to learn about the projects each charity performs and to make recommendations to the Steering Committee for approval for a donation later in the year.
Because of the huge support for the Masters Club Golf Tournament held each year in the fall, the Masters Club donated $27,000 to five local charities in 2007. The groups selected were Bishop Quinn Cottages, Breaking Barriers, Sacramento Crisis Nursery, Stanford Settlement and Wellspring Women's Center.

Charitable groups that are eligible for selection must be local, non-profit organizations that seek to strengthen and to stabilize neighborhoods through programs and services for youth and/or adults.
REALTORS® who know of a worthwhile local charity that meets the criteria listed above may submit their suggestions to the President Aileen Santee at asantee@mindspring.com.
