Masters Club EventsAs an SAR Masters Club member, you are welcome to participate in the following events. For more information on these events contact Deborah Grinnell at dgrinnell@sacrealtor.org.
Educational Roundtables - February 1, 2008 On February 1st, 2008 Masters Club President, Jennifer Burke, with her Educational Roundtable subcommittee will sponsor another very successful annual Educational Roundtable program. Attendees will have four workshops, the presenters, and the panelists, which will be highly informative and very motivational. This annual event allows all REALTORS®, not just Masters Club Members, to gain insight and knowledge from some of the area's most successful REALTORS®. Masters Club Network Mixer - February 28, 2008 This is a wonderful way to catch up with your Masters Club friends. Invitations will be mailed to all Masters Club Members. Reservations are required. The Masters Club volunteers on the fifth Monday of the month to prepare and serve lunch to the homeless guests at Sacramento's Loaves and Fishes Dining Room. The Steering Committee organizes 10-12 volunteers to work each shift: If you wish to help with this worthwhile charity event, please e-mail Bruce Slaton.
Held in April in the luxurious Sharaton Grand Ballroom, this luncheon is the largest formal affair SAR hosts. Over 600 REALTORS® and affiliates gather to applaud SAR’s top-producing agents. Invitations are mailed in February to all SAR members. Masters Club Golf Tournament - October 13, 2008 This popular event typically sells out within three weeks. REALTORS® and affiliates enjoy a foursome scramble. This annual tradition is a member favorite and an enormous fundraiser for local charities. If you are not a golf player, you can attend the fun-filled, awards banquet that follows the tournament. The banquet includes a silent and live auction, music, delicious food and drink and a celebrity master of ceremonies. Masters Club Breakfast - November 21, 2008 A few weeks following the golf tournament, Masters Club hosts a breakfast to present their donations to the local charities. This year the event will be held on November 21st at the Arden Hills Country Club. As is our tradition, charity representatives will accept their checks and explain how the money will enhance the lives of those they serve. This presentation is followed by an address given by a prominent local personality or public official. Past speakers have included Mike McKeaver of SACOG (Sacramento Area Council of Government), Matt Mayhood of Sacramento Chamber of Commerce), Sheriff Lou Blanas, US Congressman Robert Matsui and Barbara Hayes of SACTO (Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization) and John Hodgson (The Hodgson Co.). |
