Vision and Purpose

Sacramento Association of REALTORS® (SAR) leads the real estate industry and the Sacramento business community in supporting higher education for deserving local students. Through our SAR Scholarship Program, we strongly support and encourage academic excellence in young adults, including those students related to current and past Members of our Association and those who will pursue a career in real estate or an affiliated field. We recognize and reward today’s student leaders who best exemplify the spirit and bright future of Professional Real Estate in Sacramento.

Our scholarships are funded exclusively by SAR REALTOR® Members and Affiliate Member donations. The number and value of scholarships awarded each year is dependent on the amount of contributions made and the number and quality of applicants. In recent years, SAR has awarded up to twenty-six scholarships ranging in value from $500 to $3,000 each.
