So Much is Changing in the Areas of Risk Management and Litigation

Don’t miss the up coming session on Current Risk Management Issues Effecting Real Estate Professionals at the November Main Membership Meeting at SAR (November 3rd at 9:00 am.)

Learn ways to protect ourselves in these uncertain times with Attorney Shannon Jones. This session will include information on handling short sales; pitfalls with REO sales; disclosure issues; agent trouble issues; new statutes; new cases affecting real estate agents; and discussion of war stories relating to other transactions in which agents made mistakes and were sued.

Shannon B. Jones is the owner and managing partner of Shannon B. Jones Law Group. Jones has been representing real estate agents and brokers for almost 20 years. She has an undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Southern California. In addition, she is a member of C.A.R.’s Strategic Defense Panel and has published a number of articles and the best selling real estate book, “A Real Estate Agents Practical Guide to Avoiding Litigation.” Jones also is the owner of Diablo Mediation Services, an organization set up to resolve real estate and business disputes.

Ms. Jones is the Attorney to General Council of the California Association of REALTORS®.
