Making Statistics Work for You and Your Clients

Did you know one of SAR’s Member Benefits is providing statistics (excerpted from MLS)?  Tony Vicari, SAR Public Affairs Assistant, extracts information from MLS each month and creates several different reports that are available to all SAR Members for free.

County Wide Report – Includes both home and condo sales trends, types of financing used, days on the market and a modal breakdown.

Zip Code Report – Features number of sales (including type of sale: REO, Short Sale or Conventional Sales), median listing and sales prices and inventory for each Sacramento County zip code.

Press Release – Provides a narrative of the local market.

More reports such as the Historical Median Sales Price – by Zip Code Report and the Property Breakdown Report are available in the REALTORS® Only section of the website.

To reach the REALTORS^® Only section, go to http://ims.sacrealtor.org and enter your NRDS # and the last 4 digits of you SS #.

The reports are usually updated on the 10^th of each month (e.g., November stats ready by Dec. 10^th).
