The Sacramento Association of REALTORS® (SAR) is once again offering a number of scholarships to qualifying high school seniors and college students who attend school in and are permanent residents of Sacramento County and the City of West Sacramento.
SAR scholarships are awarded for academic excellence, with consideration given to financial need, community service and school activities.
Awards in recent years have ranged from $750 to $3,000. Awards will be announced in early May and presented in June at SAR’s headquarters in Sacramento.
Students interested in applying may obtain information and a printable application online at http://www.sacrealtor.org.
Completed applications along with transcripts, references and a 300-word (minimum) essay are due in the offices of SAR no later than 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
