Educational Roundtables - February 1, 2008

On February 1st, 2008 Masters Club President, Jennifer Burke, with her Educational Roundtable subcommittee will sponsor the annual Educational Roundtable program. Attendees will enjoy four motivational mini-workshops, delicious catered breakfast, networking opportunities and a fascinating panel.

Financial Health Fair 2008 - April 1, 2008

If you are a CPA, Financial Planner, Tax Expert Estate Planner, etc. Consider exhibiting at our Financial Health Fair, on Tuesday, April 1 with exhibits and a light breakfast, followed by our keynote presentation by Financial Expert Kelly Brothers.

Masters Club Awards Luncheon - April 4, 2008

Held in April in the luxurious Sheraton Grand Ballroom, this luncheon is the largest formal affair SAR hosts. Hundreds of SAR REALTORS® and affiliates gather to applaud SAR's top-producing agents.

Business and Technology Expo - September 5, 2008

Each year SAR hosts an annual regional Business and Technology Expo with the local REALTOR® Associations. The event, attended by nearly 600 real estate professionals, provides participants with valuable information on real estate technology, trends, tools and networking opportunities. Key elements include an extensive trade show, informative breakout sessions presented by industry leaders, lunch, music and over 40 exciting raffle prizes.

Christmas CanTree - Kick off in September 2008

The Christmas CanTree is SAR’s trademark fundraiser for the hungry in our community. For over 24 years, SAR has been raising funds and building a giant tree made of canned foods in our office parking lot. During the past few years, collections from REALTOR® and Affiliate offices and individuals have generated over $160,000 for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Food Basket Program. Offices of all sizes host individual fundraising events to support this effort. Crab feeds, silent auctions, yard sales, raffles and chili cook-offs have raised from $250 to $20,000. International REALTOR Celebration - October 2, 2008

For the first time in 2006, SAR's Equal Opportunity Committee hosted the International Realtor Celebration Day. It will be returning in 2008 as an annual affair. It is a wonderful mix of food, entertainment, cultural exchange and educational speakers.

Masters Club Golf Tournament - October 13, 2008

This popular event typically sells out within three weeks. REALTORS® and affiliates enjoy a foursome scramble. This annual tradition is a member favorite and an enormous fundraiser for local charities. If you are not a golf player, you can attend the fun-filled, awards banquet that follows the tournament. The banquet includes a silent and live auction, music, delicious food and drink and a celebrity master of ceremonies.

Masters Club Breakfast - November 21, 2008

A few weeks following October's golf tournament, the Masters Club hosts an annual breakfast to present its donations to local charities. Held at the Arden Hills Country Club, this heart-warming event features charity representatives accepting their checks and explaining how the money will enhance the lives of those they serve. The presentation is followed by a prominent local personality or public official address.

SAR Officers and Directors Installation and Awards Luncheon - January 6, 2009

SAR would not exist without the dedicated efforts of our volunteer committee members and leaders. Each year SAR pays tribute to our wonderful volunteers through a formal luncheon in the SAR Mack Powell Auditorium. The room is transformed by an elaborate stage and colorful table decorations to reflect the SAR President’s theme for the year. The new Board of Directors is installed, outstanding members are presented awards, the new President gives his or her acceptance speech, and the Affiliate and REALTOR® of the Year are announced. Don't miss this annual affair.
